I need to make a claim

If you need to make a claim, please follow the instructions below:

1. Have your name, address, telephone number and insurance certificate number ready.
2. The number you need to call depends on whether you are calling during normal business hours:
If you are reporting a claim between Monday to Friday between, 9am and 6:30pm Eastern Time, phone Marsh’s Private Client Services at 1-866-940-5111 and a customer service representative will handle your call If you are reporting a claim outside business hours, phone Cunningham Lindsay at 1-800-235-8784 or email dispatch@cl-na.com.
Please indicate that you have a claim and be prepared to provide your name, address, telephone number and insurance certificate number
3. An adjuster will call you back to discuss the claim and what the next steps are to help you recover from the loss.
verification51 Tip: For faster service, please have the following information available:

  • Your insurance certificate number
  • The full address of where you are currently using the insurance

Also, to make the claims process easier, keep a receipt and record (make, model, where and when purchased and the price) of your purchased belongings, particularly more expensive items. Photographs are also very helpful in proving your claim.
